I'm Samantha Lao.  Right now, I am 9 years old, and I live in New York.  I am in the fourth grade.

I have just published my first book, The Scared Panda.  I wrote this book during a class I took at the Art League.  My Dad did the illustrations and the book was born.  We had it published on September 1, 2009.

I am now trying to get the word out about my book.  By selling my book, I am trying to raise money to save the pandas.  I really love pandas.  A portion of the sales from this book will be donated to a nonprofit organization called Pandas International.
